Just as the body often requires medication to maintain health, routine physical activity is essential to maintaining your strength and physical mobility. While physical rehabilitation is necessary to return to your prior level of function following injury or disease, preserving your achievements with a home exercise program can be hard to do on your own. Through 20 years of practice, I've come to understand the reasons why.

As a physical therapist I can help you overcome these challenges through:
Modifying any exercise to tailor to your body type, your fitness level, your posture, and your past medical history so you can advance, not just maintain.
Introducing variety in exercises and make sure you are targeting all muscle groups, not just the ones you injured.
Providing structure through a regular schedule making exercise as routine as taking a medication.
Convenience of services provided in your home, for the length of time you choose, and as often as you desire.
Eliminating the need of a gym through body weight supported exercises requiring no gym equipment.
Wellness services are not a substitute for medically necessary outpatient physical therapy and should not be used in lieu of benefits from your health insurance. Insurance does not cover wellness visits. Should any client develop a condition requiring medically necessary physical therapy services, wellness services can be held until completion of rehabilitation.
